This project was crammed in to a few short weeks and took many steps and parts to come together. Starting with finding a problem and expanding from there. I then progressed the problem creating a solution that effectively creates a user friendly and productive application.
The problem starts by finding an application that isn’t up to it potential. A relatively easy task, however after basing my problem off of Starbucks’s app it was hard to find issues. Their application consists of all the elements it would need and is easy to navigate. However I wanted to create a new brand of the sole purpose of being designed around speed. That was the problem at hand. Apart from designing visuals for an application I had to create the function behind it. Going through many drafts to find the best solution to create an easy to use fast app.
Creating this app ran through many wireframes to find the best possible path. Finally landing on the one above. Easy to access navigation bar at the bottom helps the user from feeling lost, and the app remembers the users last purchase. This app lets a user start and finish an order in four steps. The user picks a drink, location, orders and pays.
The video is a walkthrough of the apps functions and animations. This walkthrough does include the onboarding which would occurs for first time users.
