This project came together much easier and overall felt better to create as I had more tools and options to create with. Using color, typography, and images I was able to make a visually pleasing and easy-to-read article design. With color to provide a hierarchy for titles, and images to fill space. The images chosen, particularly the birds around the border help fill space while leaving it open. This felt perfect as an open feel is great for an article about birds. The color matched the woman and the colors contrast each other but not too harshly. Both with a pastel feel that matches the pastel colors of the birds on the branch. The article is short but doesn’t feel too short as it takes up the right amount of space to let the borders and images work. The oranges stick out of the blue like branches and also separates the sky a little to force the reader’s eye inward to the type.
